Pourmancer privacy policy

Last updated: 4 November 2026

Who we are. Pourmancer is made by Nixcape. Privacy questions: support@hidesnipe.com.

What the game itself keeps

Your progress (trophies, cards, coins, flasks), your settings and a list of in-game events (for example "battle won") are stored only on your own device. The game does not send them to us. "Start over" in Settings, or uninstalling the app, deletes it all.

Online play (only if you use it)

Only when you first play online (the Online button) does the app make a guest account on our game server (pourmancer.spotlit.nl). On it we keep only:

We ask for no e-mail address, no real name and no phone or advertising ID for online play, and there is no chat (only fixed emotes, which you can mute). Other players see your player name, rating and country.

IP addresses

To protect the server from overload, it counts in its working memory how many requests come from an address; that is forgotten after at most an hour without requests and never stored. The web server keeps no access log for the game server; its error log may contain an IP address with an error and is deleted after 14 days.

How long

A guest account unused for 12 months is deleted automatically, with everything on it. Daily-challenge scores are kept for 8 days.

Deleting your account

In the app: Settings > Online account > Delete my online account. That removes your account from the server at once, with your name, rating, friends and scores (and your place in other players' friend lists). Your progress on your device stays. If you cannot do it in the app (for example because you uninstalled it), e-mail support@hidesnipe.com with your friend code and we delete it.

Legal basis for online play

Performing what you ask for (GDPR art. 6(1)(b)): an online match, a leaderboard. Protection against abuse (the temporary IP count): our legitimate interest.

Ads (in the apps)

The Android and iPhone apps show ads from Google AdMob (Google Ireland Limited, Gordon House, Barrow Street, Dublin 4, Ireland): a video you choose to watch for a reward, and now and then an ad between two battles. For this, Google's software on your device collects, among other things:

Google uses this to show and measure ads, to prevent fraud and, only with your consent, to personalise ads. How Google does this: policies.google.com/technologies/partner-sites and policies.google.com/privacy.

Your consent. In the European Economic Area, the United Kingdom and Switzerland, the app first asks for your consent, with Google's form. You can say no; you then get ads that are not personalised. You can change or withdraw your choice at any time in the app: Settings > Privacy & ad settings. On Android you can delete or reset your advertising ID in your phone's settings.

On iPhone: Apple's tracking question. On iOS the app also asks Apple's App Tracking Transparency question before your device's advertising identifier (IDFA) may be used for personalised ads. It asks only after Google's consent form (where that form is required), and it never asks players under 16. If you decline, the app only shows ads that are not personalised and Google's software does not get the identifier. You can change your answer at any time in iOS: Settings > Privacy & Security > Tracking.

Legal basis. For personalised ads and for storing or reading information on your device: your consent. For non-personalised ads, measuring them and fraud prevention: the legitimate interest of funding the free game with ads, as explained in the consent form.

Purchases (in the apps)

In the apps you can buy coin bags, bottle styles, a bundle and the Brew Pass through Google Play (Android) or Apple's App Store (iPhone). Google or Apple handles the payment under its own privacy policy (policies.google.com/privacy, apple.com/legal/privacy). We never see your card or payment details.

The app gets the store's confirmation of what you bought and keeps the store's transaction ids on your device only, so that each purchase is granted exactly once (with its price and date, for the monthly limit you can set in Settings). Nothing about your purchases is sent to our game server. Restore purchases (at the bottom of the shop and in Settings > Purchases) asks Google Play or the App Store again for your one-time purchases, for example on a new phone.

This website

This website sets no cookies and uses no analytics or trackers. Your language choice is remembered in your own browser (local storage) and never sent to us.

Children

Pourmancer is meant for players aged 13 and over and is not directed at children. If a player says at the age question that they are under 16, they cannot make purchases, are never asked Apple's tracking question and only get ads that are not personalised.

How long (the rest)

What is on your device stays there until you delete it. What Google (ads, Google Play) or Apple (App Store) collects, they keep under their own policies.

Your rights

You have the right to access, correct, delete, restrict, object to and port your data. For your online account: delete it in the app (above); for access or a copy, e-mail support@hidesnipe.com with your friend code. For ads this goes through Google (myaccount.google.com/data-and-privacy) or the settings above; for payments, through Google Play or Apple. You can also complain to your data protection authority (in the Netherlands: the Autoriteit Persoonsgegevens, autoriteitpersoonsgegevens.nl).

Changes

If anything changes, we update this policy and the date at the top.
